When eaten fresh, amalaki fruit is very sour when you bite into it, but after a few minutes all you taste is sweetness. This is what is meant by the vipaka, or aftertaste.
Treat your face to a cooling combination of Ayurvedic ingredients that soothe and hydrate your skin. This healing facial masque stimulates circulation and supports healthy, glowing skin.
Key Ingredients
. Amalaki Fruit, very high in vitamin c, nourishes, tones and promotes healthy skin.
. White Jelly Mushroom, penetrates deeply and acts like hyaluronic acid to hydrate the skin by pulling moisture from the air.
. Manjista, a flowering plant in the coffee family, gives the skin a radiant glow and an even tone.
. Anantamul (‘The Eternal Root’ in Sanskrit) helps to improve scars and pigmentation while supporting clear skin.
. Licorice, used consistently over time, may help fade dark spots and blemishes, and lighten the skin.
How to use
Pour a small amount into palm and mix with water, tea, yogurt, honey, or other liquid of your choice until a smooth paste forms. Gently apply it to clean, dry skin with fingertips, avoiding lips and eye area. Leave on for 5-10 minutes. Do not let it dry on your skin. Rinse off with lukewarm water and pat dry.
This is a potent formula. Be sure to test a small area of the skin first to see how your skin will react.
