For both young and old, dry skin can be problematic and quite irritating. While natural moisturizers can often help smooth dry skin, it is sometimes nice to treat your skin to something that will deeply hydrate the epidermis. Our body butter is perfect for such an occasion. Not only does it feed your skin a wonderful blend of natural ingredients, it also will leaves you in the most blissful of states! This body butter made with unique natural exotic butters and oils, contains wildly emollient properties that will leave your skin plump and, well, supple.

This body butter contains a huge number of different butters–from familiar ones like Shea Fruit Butter to the more exotic Maracuja Butter, Kombo Butter, Pracaxi Seed Butter,  Cupuacu Butter, Mango Butter, Mafura Butter, Murumuru Butter, Tucuma Kernel Butter, and Sal Fruit Butter.

Shea fruit butter contains soothing and moisturizing properties that boost your skin’s health. Some of the bioactive substances in the butter include stearic acid and lupeol, which protects the skin barrier’s health and helps prevent aging by blocking the function of enzymes that degrade skin proteins.

Maracuja butter also helps soothe dry skin, as it has anxiolytic and emollient properties. Due to it’s richness in calcium, and high in fatty acids, it is not surprising that it can improve the elasticity of your skin and help brighten its appearance.

Kombo butter, derived from the seeds of the African Nutmeg, is yet another butter that contributes to the ultimately super moisturizing body butter that we’ve produced. Kombo butter can be an active ingredient in the treatment of arthritis or any other joint pain, and has antifungal and antiseptic properties that can neutralize bodily odors. It also contains the Decorina protein, known for its ability to regulate the production of collagen improving the condition and appearance of the skin.

Pracaxi butter is both a moisturizing and even healing ingredient. Its emollient properties contribute to the hydrating effect of this body butter, and it has also been used to combat stretch marks and fever blisters, speed wound healing, and improve hyper-pigmentation.

Cupuacu butter is an excellent moisturizer, with even more water absorption power than shea butter. It helps soothe symptoms of psoriasis, eczema, and dry, cracked skin, and smoothes lines and wrinkles, restoring the skin’s elasticity.

Mango butter is rich in essential fatty acids, especially oleic and stearic fatty acids, and is rapidly absorbed by the skin. It also has high amounts of non fatty acids, which accelerate the repair of damaged skin tissue.

Mafura butter is known for its cosmetic and healing properties. The presence of limonoids make this butter antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory, and fatty acids regenerate and soften the skin.

Murumuru butter is rich in vitamins A and C and omega 3 and 6, and helps restore elasticity and suppleness to the skin. It also has healing properties, helping to lighten sun damage and revitalize dull or prematurely aged skin.

Tucuma kernel butter is a rich source of palmitic, stearic, oleic, and linoleic acids and works to deeply moisturize the skin. It also helps with healthy cell development, immune system regulation, and metabolic regulation.

Sal butter is used to speed up healing of damaged skin caused by excessive wind or sun, wounds, insect bites, scratches, or eczema. As a massage butter, it is used to relieve muscle aches, stiffness, and pain.

Each of these butters has a unique scent, often slightly nutty or chocolate-y. In addition to the natural scents of the individual butters, Supple is scented with ylang ylang essential oil, making the overall aroma a deliciously sweet, though not overpowering, floral and green scent, one you just can’t wait to slather all of your body.
